About Me

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. So was my mother and her father. So my family has been here for a while now. I graduated High School in 2001 and served a mission for the church from 2002-2004 in the Australia Sydney North Mission. I loved being there for 2 years as a missionary. I currently work at a Mortuary. It is very fasinating work and I enjoy it very much. I'm also engaged to be married in the Las Vegas LDS Temple on Oct 8th, 2011. I'm very excited so start an eternal journey wih my sweetheart. I love to play the guitar, sing, eat, play sports, listen to all types of music, watch football and spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Back in the 50's a couple of LDS missionaries knocked on the door of a little house in Las Vegas. My grandparents answered and let them in. The messages and teachings they shared about Jesus Christ touched my grandparents hearts. They were baptized and became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They raised their childern in the church (my mom being the youngest) My grandmother on my father's side joined the church when he was a young boy as well. My parents found each other, got married and raised their children with the teachings of the LDS church. My whole life I knew it all was good and inportant. It was until I was 18 that I really understood and found out for myself how true and important the gospel of Jesus Christ really was in my life. I also came to know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints taught that same true gospel. Not only taught it but restored it through a living prophet. The teachings and standards of the true and restored gospel have only been a blessing in my life. It contains full and eternal principles and ordinances and Jesus the Christ is at the head of it.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. The ward or congregation I go to is specifically for Young Single Adults. Ages 18-30. It gives us a chance to meet, worship and socialize with other singles in the area. We have activities through out the week and it allows all of us to help and love one another. Because of this ward and the socializing that happens in it. I was able to meet my future wife. Which has been the greatest blessing I have ever recieved.
