Hi I'm Kelli

I'm a mom, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met my husband while going to college, fell in love, and now have two beautiful children. I'm so privileged to be able to stay at home with them while my husband continues his education to become a veterinarian. I've perfected the art of trying every hobby and mastering none! Cooking, sewing, painting, knitting, crafting... you name it, I've probably tried it! I love creating things for my home and children. My family means everything to me and I'm trying each day to not get caught up in where our future will take us but focusing on the memories we're making now.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a family with deep roots in the the LDS faith. I grew up with the knowledge that I'm a daughter of our Heavenly Father who loves me. I have felt his love numerous times throughout my life. I know He answers prayers and provides a way for everyone to return to live with him. Being LDS has definitively shaped who I am and the choices I've made in my life. Nothing matters more than family to me and what kind of God would allow us to make such special relationships if it weren't meant to continue into the afterlife? The Gospel just makes sense. Love one another. Take care of your body. Treat others the way that Christ would.

How I live my faith

My life right now is focused on my children, my husband, and what I can do for others. One Sunday a month I teach the lesson during our meeting that the women meet together. The lessons usually focus on how we can become better wives, mothers, and friends. We inspire each other, lift each others' burdens, learn for one another, and look out for the those in need. I would be lost with out this group of women. I moved away from all my family and friends for my husband's education and now the women of my church have become my family. Since the congregation that attends our church is made up with couples where at least one of the spouses is a student, we're all in the same situation in life. Young couples going to school and starting families.
