Hi I'm Sara

I grew up in Utah. I am a wife and mother of four. I am a Mormom.

About Me

I am the oldest of six children and grew up in Utah. I have been a member of the church my entire life. I have been married for 15 years and have four children. I went to school and got my degree in accounting and chose to stay home and raise my kids. I love to read especially about historical events. My family and I love to be outdoors - hiking, biking, playing at the park, swimming. I spend most my free time cheering my kids on at their sporting events.

Why I am a Mormon

Before I had a testimony of my own, I recognized the joy the gospel brought to my parents. I was always taught that following the commandments and doing what the prophets have asked will bring joy and happiness. My testimony was built on experiences that showed how important Heavenly Fathers plan of salvation is and how loved and important we are to him. I know that he hears and answers prayers and that he never leaves us alone. Even though we have trials and times that seen hard, they refine us and help us grow. I also know how important the Atonement is and that it will help us overcome our weaknesses and short comings. It is so comforting to me to know that we have a Savior who knows how we feel and he can comfort and help us in any way. I also know that we have scriptures and a prophet today that tell us the things that will keep us happy and on our path back to Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I know that I have to live my faith everyday. Scripture reading is a daily must. The things I read pertain to me and help guide me. Service is also a big part of living my faith. There are so many small and simple things we can each day to help our families, neighbors, friends, and strangers. And it doesn't take big things. At church, I teach the children ages 18 months to 3 years. We have so much fun playing, but I love teaching and singing about the gospel. They are sincere and close to the spirit that I really do learn from them.
