Hi I'm Logan

I'm a SoCal girl. I'm a sister and and an aunt. I love the beach and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of five children, and kind of in a different phase of my life than all of my siblings. But I love being an aunt to my 11 nieces and nephews. I am an avid reader, and I love nothing more than to spend the day reading a good book with my toes buried in the sand. I love to bake, and love creating new dishes. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, but I am confident that if I stay true to myself, and what I know to be true, I will find more happiness than I can possibly imagine!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but that didn't mean that I had to become a member. We believe that everyone has to make the choice for themselves. It was always something that I was surrounded by, but growing up in Southern California, you are surrounded by a lot of diversity. I was exposed to other beliefs and other lifestyles. But over the years, I discovered for myself that this church really is the true church of Jesus Christ. Living his teachings has made me happier. I have never really doubted this to be true. But I had come to a point in my life that I had to decide for myself. I didn't have my parents waking me up for church on Sunday morning. I had to do it for myself. I looked around me and saw where my siblings were, and where some of my non-"mormon" friends were. They were in drastically different places in their lives, headed in opposite directions. I knew right then and there that living the "mormon" lifestyle would get me where I want to go in life. It teaches be how to be a better daughter, a better sister, a better friend, and most importantly a better person. I am a Mormon because living this way is making me into who I want to be, and who I believe God wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith everyday. I'm certainly not perfect, but I strive to be the best that I can be. Currently I am teaching people about the gospel of Jesus Christ. In the past, I have served as a seminary teacher. Seminary is an early morning class for teenagers where they can learn about Jesus Christ through the scriptures. I have also served as a choir director. I try to help out when I can in the community. Sometimes its through big service projects, and sometimes its just picking up a piece of trash on the ground. I believe that its the little things that make a difference. The small acts of kindness that we perform everyday that help us on our path to return to live with our Heavenly Father.
