Hi I'm Nancy Lindsey

I'm a wife, mother of 5 sons, an accountant and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a working mom, who loves her family. I love to read especially suspense and military related ficton. I play the piano, love to knit and sew, but my favorite times are when my husband and I get to spend time with our sons, daughter-in-laws and grandchilden. Family is everything to me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because after careful study and personal revelation, I know it to be true. I works in my life. I see others around me that are missing vital answers to their life questions, because they do not have the gospel of Jesus Christ in their life. I agree with Pres. Hinkley when he stated that everything good that has happened in his life, is because of his membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I cannot imagine an eternity without my family and the Lord has provided a way that we can be together forever. In times of trouble and hardship, my savior Jesus Christ walks with me and is my rock and redeemer.

How I live my faith

I have served in the LDS church as a teacher since the day after I turned 18 years old. My first assignment was teaching the 3 year olds in their children's group. I think I had more fun than they did. As I progressed to teaching high school students in early morning seminary, adults in Sunday School and young women in their group, I can honestly say that I have learned more by preparing to teach, than any of my students! What a wonderful opportunity for me to grow and learn, one that I would not have received in any other church in my area. In my Accounting career, I use my faith to guide me in management decisions. My honesty and integrity are integral to my job and reinforced by my belief in Christ- "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" Matthew 16:26 Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints is who I am and I wouldn't have it any other way.
