Hi I'm Juli

I am a photographer, a theatre enthusiast, a comedian and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love taking pictures of unique and precious things in life. I love seeing little cousins embrace, grandmas making dinner for the family, or the look on a childs face as he makes his first goal playing soccer. I have my camera with me everywhere I go. Everyone looks to me and yells,"Hey Juli, take a picture of this! It's CLASSIC!" I take pictures of everything. I want to remember each moment. These pictures are so important to me because I know what it is like to lose someone. I take every opportunity I have to let the people I care about most know that they are loved. I lost my cousin Ashley a couple years ago and soon there after lost my uncle. Both of these deaths were unexpected and drew my family together. It's in times like these where families unite and I am thankful that my family is forever. I love going to theatre productions. I have my degree in theatre and take every opportunity to go to plays. I am a pretty good actress. Everyone tells me I have the most hilarious and intense facial expressions. When I was in plays I always was given the "character" parts. You know the ones that are insane, funny,"interesting", and quirky. I would make people bust out laughing when they would come to watch the plays. I make friends everywhere I go. I am the life of every party. I could make friends with a brick wall if it would talk to me. I say what I am thinking all the time. I say things that are often kinda silly and everyone loves it. I can entertain a crowd for hours.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was little I went to church just because my parents told me to. After a period of time I found that they did not need to talk me into going to church because I already felt that it was the right thing to do. When I went to church I felt accepted. I made friends and found joy in learning about Jesus and His teachings. Each time I went to church I gained a greater understanding of God's love for me. I understood that though I am not perfect, God still loved me. There are often times where I have felt the hands of my Heavenly Father embracing me. His calm assurance to my heart has been vital in my conversion to His true gospel. God is forgiving, understanding, and a comforter. I have had loads of trials in my life. I have done things that I am not proud of. Through all of these events I have turned to Heavenly Father and found rescue from the storms in life. There have been tramatic moments where I have ached for someone to comfort me. When I pray to my Heavenly Father he fixes everything in my life. It's like he uses one of those magic erasers and things miraculously become clean. I actually wrote a poem describing how I feel about Christ. It's entitled: "Can't take it away" He knows what I've done, Yet loves me the same. He embraces my sorrow. And eases my pain He lightens my load But does not take it away He knows what I can handle And that's why I pray. I ask him for strength To help me get through To help me understand The things I should do He can't take everything away Because that's how I learn But he can help with the heartache He can help with the burn He'll help me feel loved Sometimes that's all I need To know someone is there Just bend down on my knees. My life is better when I have Heavenly Father in it. I am grateful for opportunities to struggle and grow. I am grateful for heartache and pain because it is during those times where I gain more of a testimony of God's true love for me.

How I live my faith

I am a social butterfly. I am a networker and friend to everyone. My talents of inclusion are put to great use because I am an activites planner for my ward. I find events that will bring everyone together.
