Hi I'm Sydney

I'm a hairstylist, DIY-er, theater enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am pretty outgoing, I do enjoy meeting new people and helping others. I am a hairstylist, and love my job! I love to make "do it yourself" projects. Musical theater has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy reading and I always have a book with me.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Mormon. It wasn't until I was in high school that I truly found that I knew the Gospel of Jesus Christ was true. I was struggling with my weight, felt so alone and didn't know where to find peace and comfort. I turned to the Book Of Mormon and found the comfort I was searching for. It was then that I knew without a doubt that the Atonement was real, and that our Heavenly Father loves us so much he sent his Son so I, personally, wouldn't have to feel alone. From that point on I have lived my life in a way to where I can rely on the Lord and find peace and comfort through his love and find that I am a daughter of God and I have worth here on earth. Struggling with my weight didn't seem like such a burden anymore when I realized that my Savior Jesus Christ knew me personally and loved me, died for me. It made my life seem so much more precious to me, and I want to live my life in a way that pleases him.

How I live my faith

I teach Sunday School at church. I teach the young adults about the New Testament. When I teach on Sunday, I prepare the week before, digging into the scriptures to find truths and principles that we can apply to our daily lives. I think finding ways to apply scriptures to my life helps me to live my faith. I visit with other women at church, where we are able to strengthen our friendships, make connections to help us get through life easier. Some of my very best friends were met at church. I read my scriptures daily, pray for guidance from my Heavenly Father, and attend fun young single adult activities where we can continue to build bonds of friendship in clean and appropriate ways.
