Hi I'm Joan~

I am a mother & a grandma. I love my job teaching piano and voice. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was adopted as an infant and grew up knowing I was loved and wanted. My parents taught us the gospel, but like many members, I had to be truly "converted" on my own. I prayed and received my answer that God WAS there and loved me and that the things I had been taught about Him and His gospel all my life were really TRUE! As an adult I was able to find my birth mom and thank her in person for loving me enough to give me life and then give me up. I love being a mom and especially a grandma!!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ and know that the ordinances needed to live again with God and my family, and the authority to perform those saving ordinances, are found within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The gospel brings me happiness and gives me purpose and direction. I'm so happy to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Every day we have opportunities to share what we know and believe....not just by what we say but by how we live and what we do. Serving others brings great joy to me and I want those around me to know how much they are loved and appreciated! Each individual is a child of God and has the great potential to become like Him! If we could see one another as God sees us what a different world this would be!! I serve in the women's organization of my congregation and love rubbing shoulders with other women who share the same standards and beliefs as I. In my teaching I try to help each student reach his or her own potential through the marvelous gift of music! Life is wonderful isn't it!?!
