Hi I'm Neil & Nila Greenhalgh

We're Mormons. We grew up in Utah and spent 21 years in the USAF before retiring and settling in Nebraska.

About Me

Neil has degrees from BYU and the University of Northern Colorado. We spent 21 years traveling around the US and Canada while in the USAF before retiring and another 18 years at an insurance company before retiring the second time. We decided to settle in Nebraska and love it here. We have four children (2 boys and 2 girls) and 14 grandchildren. Our children live in Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri. We enjoy retirement, church service, golfing, having a nice yard, fly fishing and camping. Nila loves to quilt. We served a full time mission as a couple for our church in California and had a wonderful time.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of our parents were members of the church and we grew up with that religious influence. Our church affiliation goes back to the early Mormon pioneers from Denmark and England. Through our youth and early married life our testimony of the truthfullnes of the restored gospel grew and matured in each of us. We know that the gospel has been restored and we are proud to have our testimonies and knowledge of the church.

How I live my faith

We have served in many capacities over the years; scoutmaster, adult leaders, classroom teachers, full time missionaries, lay minister. We currently have visiting asssignments to look after about 8 families in our congregation. Neil also directs the operation of a local family history research facility.
