Hi I'm Cari

I'm Arizona-grown and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My weekdays are spent in a high-rise office building overlooking Camelback Mountain in lovely, but HOT Tempe Arizona. I'm a legal assistant in a Personal Injury Law Firm. When I am not drafting letters, calling clients or medical offices I can be found doing a handful of other things. Some weekends you will find me doing my most favorite activity, designing floral arrangments and bouquets for local weddings. I am a classic movie enthusiast, an experimental chef, a roomate, a daughter, a sister, a landlord and a musician. Each week I look forward to singing with my friends in a fantastic local choir. I am the youngest of eight children and consider my siblings' children to be the lights of my life. There are 32 of them and that's a lotta light! I enjoy my walks with my little pup, Blossom and look forward to every opportunity I get to be with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I find that happiness in life comes from one basic principle: Love. The most love I have ever felt in my life has been in times that I am following the teachings of Jesus Christ. It is in His church that I learn how to treat and serve others, how to feel about my own worth, how to approach daily trials that are inevitable. I find peace here. I find confidence. I find hope and ultimately I find love. I find direct correlation between feeling these things in my life and making choices that coincide with the Lord's teachings. I know the Lord God loves me and is interested in my life. I know that He sent His Son to live and die, and live again, for me and for all His children. We are all His children and He Loves us and wants us to return to live with Him and our families forever.

How I live my faith

I don't live my life perfectly. I'm not the smartest, most diligent, prettiest, or most accomplished. I try to live my life in a way that would be pleasing to my Father in Heaven. I try to surround myself with beautiful things, organization, uplifting people. I try to serve others. In the church I serve as a choir director. I find such joy in music and find that it can express more than mere words. What better way to express gratitude or devotion then through music that moves your soul and uplifts your heart? This is the primary goal of the local choir I sing with as well, to infuse joy in the heart through song and to testify of Jesus Christ. One of the things I look forward to doing each week is to attending the temple. There I feel a connection with the Lord and with family beyond the grave. There is no where else then on the temple grounds where I feel more peace, serenity, and clarity. Throughout my daily life I find myself inwardly praying and discussing things with the Lord. I strive to seek direction from Him often. Without Him I walk in circles. With him I walk taller and in a direction I can be pleased with.
