Hi I'm Jamie

I am outgoing, adventurous, LOVE the number 22 and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a bucket list that I am actively trying to check things off of. Some of the things I have completed thus far are skydiving, flying a plane, white water rafting, hiking Mt. Timpanogos and graduating college. I enjoy being spontaneous and trying new things. I love being around others. I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist and I love working in my field at an alternative school for kids who have mental illnesses, behavioral problems and/or learning disablities.

Why I am a Mormon

I've had the blessing of being born and raised a Latter-Day Saint. Having the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ has given me tremendous strength! It has provided me with an optimistic outlook on life because I know that everything happens for a reason. I know that I will be blessed for the good choices I make and I also know that if I make a mistake, my Heavenly Father loves and cares about me so much that He will forgive me if I put in my part.

How I live my faith

Every Monday night our church members participate in Family Home Evening, which is a way to spend quality time with our families by learning of Christ and enjoying the company of one another by participating in various activities. The young single adults get together on this night since many of us may not live near our families. I help organize these lessons and activities. I also feel as though my career has helped me live my faith. The kids I work with have a special place in my heart; I know that they are children of God and that He loves each of them very much.
