Hi I'm Lynda

I was born in Canada , lived most of my life in Washington state. I'm a twin, a sister, an Aunt, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life, my family, learning, dancing, and Spanish. I work full time in customer service and billing. I will be a full time student, next year. I come from a large family of 8 (including my wonderful parents). I'm a twin, but was born as a quadruplet; two of them went home to Heavenly Father just a few hours after birth. I got to serve a mission for a year and a half for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint in the Tennessee/Georgia area, Spanish speaking; I've come to really love the people there. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I learned for myself that it is true. I was taught the gospel by missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was ten years old. I knew that the church was good and that it was from God, because as they taught me I felt the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit confirm, very strongly, in my mind and in my heart that it was true. It was a feeling of peace, of joy, of assurance. I continue being a Mormon because I feel this feeling again and again as I continue learning about the teachings of Christ and His doctrines. I feel it as I study the scriptures and as I listen to a living prophet of God. One this is for sure, I do not know everything but I do know more than anything else in this world, that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true, and is Christ's church. It has helped me come unto Christ & brought true happiness in my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith day by day, by continually learning about Christ and then trying to do/follow what He has asked us to do. I try to live the best I possible can, and correct mistakes i make along the way. I try go get to know Heavenly Father more through prayer and scripture reading, and listen to what I feel he wants me to do. I also learn so much as i prepare to teach lessons for Sunday school each week.
