Hi I'm Ryan from Gilbert, Arizona

I have a business helping people with their health and finances. I'm a family man. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of 5 children and a granfather of 8. I love scouting and model train railroading. I like playing raquetball and bowling. I love to travel and explore new areas and cultures. One of my favorite travel experiences was going to Italy and seeing the Collesium in person---it was amazing! I also was able to go back to my families original homeland in Germany which was very rewarding for me, to see where my family had come from!

Why I am a Mormon

As a young man I was invited to come to church and I felt peace, happiness and acceptance there. As I got a little older I realized I needed to be committed to attend and serve regularly. I felt the happiness and peace that being at church gives. The only way I can describe it is I felt loved and happy. The values that I learned at church helped me to want to serve a mission and let others know about the sweet fruit of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I was very happy to serve in the Philippines and loved my time and the wonderful humble people there. It gave me an opportunity to bear witness of the truthfulness of the gospel, both in the Bible and The Book of Mormon. These sacred scriptures hold the truth to happiness and joy that can be felt as you follow the principles of the Saviour, Jesus Christ. I am grateful for living prophets that can continue to guide us in our own time. I know the church is true, by asking God if this is the case you can know for yourself.

How I live my faith

I serve in the Church with the older adult men. I have enjoyed getting to know many of the men and build friendships and relationships so that I can serve them and know them better. I feel that I have grown and it has given me a different perspective in life. It has been more for my benefit than theirs in the long run. In the past I have served with the young men in scouting and cubscouting. I loved to be able to see the leadership that was developed in young men through the scouting program. I also have had the opportunity to teach sunday school to the youth and bear witness of the truthfulness of the gospel and the joy the gospel brings as we live the commandments!

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Ryan from Gilbert, Arizona
The missionaries will share a testament of the Saviour Jesus Christ and teach you about Heavenly Father's plan of happiness. How, through that plan we can be families forever, not only in this earth life but in the next. Which means that we will be living with our Heavenly Father as families. They will teach you that God is still communicating with man through living prophets just as he did in times past. Show more Show less
