Hi I'm Carol

I'm a Mormon. I come from a long line of ancestors who are Mormons and I'm grateful to them for their examples!

About Me

I am a widow who is so grateful to know that my husband and I can be together again as a married couple even after death! I have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. I worked in the Health Information industry as a coder and love to hear great music. Currently my hobby is making simple jewelry to share with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all of my life. I was one of the lucky ones who learned from birth about Jesus Christ. I come from many generations of ancestors who gave their lives to the church. My parents worked hard (and continue to do so) to set proper examples for their 8 children and I have tried to be an example to my children and now grandchildren on the joy and peace that comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. The church members have been there for our family in times of fun, and in trials and at the death of my husband. Their testimonies bolster mine and help me to be of service to others as they were to me. I know that Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to return home to be with Him and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that no matter how imperfect I my feel, I can ask for forgiveness and receive it through the miracle of Christ's attoning sacrifice. I know I have a Heavenly Mother who shares in the joys, frustrations and blessings I experience as a mother. I am thankful to have a Prophet to lead me, the scriptures to teach me, and family and friends to support me each day. It's nice to know that you are never alone!

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve, not only in the church but also in community activities. I have worked at the polling boards on election day, have served with the PTA in my children's schools and have led Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. I have taught the children in church classes and also helped in the women's organizations to plan and prepare activities as well as being a leader and teacher. I share my talents in music by singing in the choir and playing the piano.
