Hi I'm Megan

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in AZ, born and raised in the church.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 great children and a wife to my husband of 14 1/2 years. I am privileged to get to stay home and raise my children. I also get the task of cleaning and laundry and dinner and diapers and fit throwing and many other things that make staying at home mentally and physically exhausting. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. I enjoy photography and making jewelry. I also enjoy going to the movies and having some "me" time. I don't have time to do it but I enjoy it! I love to share the gospel with my children and serve in the primary where I get to share my testimony with other children. I am grateful for all that I have and everyday I get the privilege to kneel down and thank my Heavenly Father for my wonderful gifts and blessings that He provides for me. I love my brother Jesus Christ. Because of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice and atonement I get to have the gift of repentance and eternal life. I pray every day that I can live in a way that will return me to Him!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. But that is not why I am a Mormon. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love that this gospel is a family oriented church where my children are taught of their Father in Heaven and brother Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the promptings of the Holy Ghost who confirmed my testimony that this church is the true church and if I live reverently and obediently I will be able to return to live with my Father in Heaven when I die.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. I pray and read my scriptures. I have family prayer and I try to have an organized family home evening. I have small children who have short attention spans so sometime reading our scriptures and family home evenings are short on time. I try to teach my children that the temple is a goal that they should aspire to and that the blessings therein are worth it. I love the temple I love to go and attend but I also love to go and be on the grounds where there is peace. I also serve in our ward in the children's "primary" as we call it. It teaches the children ages 3-11 about our gospel and our beliefs. We sing songs and we learn of our Savior and Heavenly Father. I also try my hardest to go visit a couple sisters in our ward as a visiting teaching calling. My partner and I go and visit with our sisters to make sure things are going well and help if they need help. Our sisters KNOW that they can call at any time if they need anything. Our goal is to be life long friends with our sisters.
