Hi I'm Stephanie

I grew up in many places. I just finished my Bachelor's degree in Biology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE books, movies and music. I love books in any genre but I usually read something from science fiction, fantasy or a good mystery. I'm into alternative rock, classic rock and any song that moves me. It makes my music collection a little eclectic. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and love action movies. I'm a daughter and a sister and the only girl in my family. My family moved a bunch when I was younger. I lived Maryland, California, North Carolina, Brazil, Colorado, Idaho and Virginia. I just finished my Bachelor's degree in Biology. I want to go to grad school and get a Master's degree. My dream is to go into microbiology or clinical laboratory science. I guess that makes me a little nerdy but I love science! Mostly what I love is spending time with my family and friends. I love being an aunt and getting spend time with my niece and nephews. My family is the best thing in my life. They're my best friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that many would say that I am a Mormon because I have been since birth. That is true. I've never been in another religion but I continue to be a Mormon because being a Mormon is teaching me about Jesus Christ and about how to live my life more like His. I know that I can never be perfect like He is but I want to live my life in a way that when I see Him again, I can be in His presence and know that I did my very best to live like Him. I want God to be pleased with my actions and my life. I choose to be a Mormon because I believe that God would never abandon His children and that He wants to guide in these days as He has in the past like we learn from the Old and New Testaments. I am a Mormon because I know that God loves us and has given His children the light and truth to guide them back to Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in service programs around my community. I help out in my parent's ward by helping out in the nursery and teaching the youth. I participate in a young single adult ward by helping with visiting teaching (when a couple of women get together and share a message of faith and get to know one another). I love to help out whenever and wherever I may be needed.
