Hi I'm Jordan

I was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. I'm a husband, a father, a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and my son are the greatest joys of my life. They are my absolute, undisputed best friends. I love sports, music, history, homework, and I love to travel and learn about other cultures and peoples around the world. I look forward to entering medical school to become a doctor of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Why I am a Mormon

A Mormon is a Latter-day Saint, and that is what I strive to be. I try every day to be someone my Heavenly Father would be proud of. It gives me great comfort to know that He is with me no matter what. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me. I know that Jesus Christ is His Son, my eldest brother, and my Savior. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, that he translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God, and was the instrument through which Jesus Christ restored His Church and His authority on the earth. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet today, and that he is guided by the Lord. I'm grateful to know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I've had wonderful experiences and learned great things through service. What is most important to me about living my faith–whether in the Church, at work, in school, at home, or anywhere–is that I do so gratefully, offering a broken heart and a contrite spirit. Only that way do I know my effort is enough, and only that way do I feel my efforts are consecrated to God. Through that kind of service I've gained a testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ.
