Hi I'm Amber

I love making friends, being creative, and being an example. I am a mother, I am married to my best friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being creative. I am always looking for different things around the house or at the store that I can make fabulous. I love fashion and I have a passion for skin care and makeup. I get to spend eternity with the most amazing hard working man and my best friend. We love to laugh and be silly together. I feel like we have a real relationship where honesty, love, and respect are what helps us be successful in our marriage. We have a sweet baby boy who is 9 months and the love of our lives. He has the best personality and is the happiest baby. We live in the valley in Arizona plan on moving to a small town in eastern AZ in December where my husband Sam will begin his career in cotton farming with his father there. I look forward to living in a small town and raising my family there.

Why I am a Mormon

My family is my life. The church plays a large part in it. Although I know there's always room for improvement when it comes to scripture study, FHE, and getting to church on time but there's no doubt in my mind that the church isn't true. I have felt it, I have seen miracles, and I have witnessed the true happiness people enjoy by being a part of it. I don't know where I would be without it. I am so grateful to my parents for being the examples they are and raising their 7 kids to be examples, missionaries, and leaders. My mother passed away 10 years ago this December. I was 12 at the time and can feel the pain and hurt that took place at that time of my life. The day that my mom left this earth, I have never felt more peace and comfort in my life. I know that was the spirit warming our hearts and Heavenly Father holding us in his arms letting us know everything will be okay. I have a testimony of The Plan of Salvation. Because of it, I know I will see my mother again someday. Only good comes from the LDS church. Our morals keep us clean and pure. We don't drink, smoke, or expose our bodies and minds to anything that can corrupt it. None of us are perfect, but I know for myself I try to be the best example I can and keeping my home and lives free of anything that can harm it or derive the spirit from it. I loving when people "can tell" I am a Mormon. It's a proud thing to be able to show and exemplify. I love the church. It IS true. And nothing or no one can ever convince me otherwise.

How I live my faith

I currently am serving as the Relief Society chorister (previously Ward Chorister), and as a Den mother in Webelos in the Cub Scout program. I have a passion for music. No, I don't have the best singing voice, or I can't play the piano or violin as well as I'd like to but music truly invites the spirit and changes a mood immediately. Whether it's the sweet primary songs, hymns, or classical music, I love to hear it and it is so inviting. There are many programs or activities you can attend within the church. Right now in our ward we have been having Relief Society volleyball. It's so much fun getting together each week and laughing and just being goofy! Also there are all of the Relief Society meetings, ward and stake parties, etc. I live my faith by making sure the spirit is always present. We have family prayers every night and scripture study, pay our tithing honestly, have clean language and don't watch or listen to anything inappropriate. There's always room for improvement but we are definitely trying.
