Hi I'm Shauna

I'm a Theatre Technician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a carpenter and welder who builds sets that stand for about 3 months before I tear them down to make room for another one. I love to go to the mountains on my days off and hike into the backcountry. I am a proud aunt of two nieces and two nephews and a Cous-aunt to my cousin's kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel because it is one of the only constant things in my life. I am a very logical person but I rely on common sense as well. Everything about the gospel just makes sense to me. I love to see the Lord's hand in my life and would not trade the spiritual experiences I have had for anything this world has to offer. I have seen too much to deny that the Lord loves me and cares about how I live my life and which direction I am headed. I know that my Heavenly Father is cheering for me. I know that He cries with me. I know that He watches over me. I know that my brother Jesus Christ suffered for me and died so that I can return to my Father. I know that I am here to prove to myself that I deserve to return to them. I only have to follow the path they have outlined. I am so glad for the eternal perspective that the gospel gives. Life is hard, but the Gospel brings me Hope and Joy every day.

How I live my faith

I serve the women of my singles ward in helping to coordinate teachers for Sunday lessons and work to better the lives of those who struggle every day.
