Hi I'm Meghan

I'm from Arizona. I'm a creative and adventurous soul. I believe in being a kind and loving. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been a curious person. My entire life I have grown up in the church. Growing up in a creative and logical household, I always sought for firm confirmations to my questions, yet appreciated the beauty of receiving ever endless knowledge. I have always sought for understanding. Whether it be social, personal, emotional, or physical. My thirst for knowledge is unquenchable, so it is no surprise that I have always been constantly curious to know the deeper answers in life.. It has always been a dream and deep desire of mine to give back to my Father in Heaven what he has blessed me with all my life. My decision to serve a mission was not from pressure or standards held by the church, but an act of pure love and devotion to my Father in Heaven. To serve him and bring each of his precious sons and daughters back to him. It came as a surprise though, when I was called to the Canada,Montreal Mission (French Speaking). I absolutely adore the french language and Canada is full of friendly people, its a dream mission. On my mission, curiosity has lead me to uncover the beautiful mysteries and treasures of the gospel with full understanding. It has helped me to not only understand fully my purpose here but also how to give the sweet gift of the truthfulness and sweet pure love the gospel offers.I know Jesus Christ is my savior and my redeemer and I know without a doubt this church is true with all my heart. Amen.

Why I am a Mormon

Though both my parents and half my siblings are converts to the Church, I myself was born into it. As a child, I accepted the teachings of the gospel and that Christ was my savior. I also believed the Book of Mormon and the Bible were true and that there was a living prophet on the earth today. Toward my teenage years in high school, I began to question a lot of things and I became depressed and less and less active in the church. With depression came many struggles, those of which I conquered. It wasn't till many years later after much sadness that I decided to search for the real truth and found myself again in the gospel, feeling and understanding the fullness of truth. Since that time my love for the Church and the people in it have grown tremendously and I have been blessed in every area of my life through the gospel and the teachings given in the scriptures. Even when I didn't think I was deserving of Heavenly Father's love, he was there. The church has helped me build a very close and personal relationship with my savior Jesus Christ and has helped me to strive to be more like him each day. I know that this Church is true with every fiber of my being. I have a testimony of the plan of salvation and that it is the greatest work to ever be placed upon the individual lives of so many children of god. Whenever I remember the great and glorious plan my Heavenly Father has made for all of us, I cannot describe feeling anything more than pure joy and complete happiness. I believe that families can be together forever, and I hope to be sealed in the temple one day to the love of my life and to raise my children up in the gospel and have them know the overwhelming love and peace in their lives that being a member of the Church has given me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by having charity and trusting in Heavenly Father. I seek to help others whenever I possibly can and I trust with all my heart that Heavenly Father knows what he is doing with me. I especially love that I can express this great desire for charity by serving a mission. Bringing the warmth and love of the gospel and seeing it change others lives is the most beautiful thing Iv'e ever experienced. As I seek constantly to help Heavenly Father's children, I am full of great compassion and love for the Savior and all he has done. Because of him,I too may one day dwell again with my heavenly family. I try to live the gospel and walk in the saviors footsteps as often as I can. I am making a constant effort to be the best I can be and reach out to those who need someone to reach out and help them. I accept and respect all beliefs and I am always trying to make other feel accepted and loved. I do this by sharing a warm smile, a helping hand, a kind word. Being there for others and helping them is the most I can do to be like Christ and follow his example. And I do.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

I have come to know my Heavenly Father through constant prayer, scripture study, and obeying the commandments. At random times during the day, I will talk to him if I am ever in need of reassurance, help, or guidance. I know that he is continuously blessing my life in so many ways and he is always there for me. I have a deep and devoted love for my Heavenly Father, and I know that he will always love me for exactly who I am. Show more Show less
