Hi I'm Heather

I am an avid traveler, a wife, a cook, an organizer, an ASU Sun Devil and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A little about me..I married my high school sweetheart and best friend. We dated for 5 years and the rest was history. Since then I have learned to cook, which started off as a disaster, but I've grown to love it. I clean our little home and organize our crazy lives as college students. I have always been a writer, whether it was journaling, planning, or blogging and I will be for life. I currently graduated in journalism. Also, I love photography, reading, and interior decorating. I have been an Arizonan for life and seeing the unique beauty here has made me want to see the whole world. My husband says I am an avid traveler because I love seeing different cultures and places that are disimilar to my own. I am glad to have a husband who doesn't mind day dreaming with me about all the different places I want to go or live. One day I want to be able to travel, with my family, to different parts of the world to help those who are less fortunate than us. I aspire to be a good mother one day, a loving wife, and the best aunt.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because Jesus Christ loved me enough to open my heart and make me see how I wanted to live my life. I am a convert and was baptized 5 years ago. It all started when my sister became interested in the church and I became friends with a sweet LDS girl in 9th grade. After having good examples in my life and reading the Book of Mormon, I knew for myself that the church was true. I knew not only by the teachings in the scriptures, but by the spirit that I felt whenever I prayed at night or went to church. I have been to many churches in my life but never felt how I felt with this one. I realized that Heavenly Father wants us to choose for ourselves and he loves us enough to put people in our lives that will help lead us to the right path in life. He did this for me. I still have a lot to learn about the gospel but I am glad I have a husband to answer all questions. I have always wanted an eternal family and that is one of my favorite parts of the gospel, you can be with your family forever. Also, it seems as if the world is becoming increasingly wicked and unkind and I am so grateful for a foundation to have in my own life of how I can live a righteous life. It will also help me teach my children how to be kind and loving individuals. I love this gospel, I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and I hope one day my family and others searching for the truth will feel as I feel. They will have hope, peace, and understand the divine love of Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to think about Christ in all my decisions. My goal in life is to be more like him so to do that we must strive to be like him in our everyday motions, even in the little things. I go to church every week, read the scriptures, do family council and prayers and try to be kind to others.
