Hi I'm Mimi

I learn about family relationships from modern-day prophets. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the desert, but I grew up in California, so I prefer to be near the citrus corridor in our area where the trees are green all year! I live with my husband, Jim, and we have two children: one at home home with us and attending college, one in beautiful British Columbia serving as a missionary for the church. I love the counsel and direction the prophet and church leaders give us about what we can do to have a happy, functioning, rewarding family life. I am happiest when my family is thriving and we are unified, and I learn principles at church that I can apply at home to accomplish that.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized by my father when I was eight-years-old, and I grew up learning about the Savior and His teachings. I would hear things in church or read things in the scriptures that I would feel were true. I feel like my life has a lot of purpose and value because of those teachings.

How I live my faith

I think owning mistakes, and saying I am sorry (and really meaning it) to my husband and children has allowed me to learn the hard way and "grow up" with them.
