Hi I'm Gabrielle

I am a Friend, World Traveler, Cancer Survivor, Future Full-Time Missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21yrs old and grew up in San Bernardino, CA...which I loved. I now live in Arizona but hopefully not for much longer seeing as how I have recently put in my papers to serve a full time mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints and couldn't be more ECSTATIC!!! My life has not always been the easiest but then again, isn't that the truth for everyone. When I was 4yrs old I was diagnosed with a Malignant Brain Tumor and was told I had three months to live. My Mom and Dad would have that and thanks to them, as well as my Heavenly Father and doctors, I am still here today. I have endured three surgeries, radiation, physical therapy for temporary paralyzation and chemo. I love dancing & singing...in my room, cars and pretty much everywhere, frolicking...in fountains and hiking...in mountains. My passions are serving and traveling. I've been to Mexico, England, Ireland, Wales, Holland, Belgium, France and recently China where I was a volunteer English Teacher. It has been the most stupendous experience of my life so far and I loved it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I cannot deny what I believe to be is true. I grew up as a member of the church and didn't recieve my own testimony until I was about 17yrs old. I was taught the teachings of the gospel every Sunday and in my home but never really knew for myself and I wanted to. I prayed to know if everything I had been taught such as: Is Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father real? Did Christ really die for us? Can families be together forever? Did Joseph Smith help restore the gospel in these latter days? And if the Book of Mormon was true as well. I got my answer on March, 4th 2008 and it was an overwhelming feeling that I can't explain, I just...knew. And I've never been happier.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying every day to do things that will bring smiles to my Savior, family, friends and just everyday people. As well as, trying to be any example of Christ and all that entails.
