Hi I'm Angela

I'm a wife a mom of 7 and a stay at home crafter/desinger and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom of 7 young children and heads turn whenever we walk by. I grew up in Utah in a Mormon family and later went to BYU where I got my Interior Design degree. During that time I also served a mission in Oakland, California. Shortly after my mission I married my husband who is now a Helicopter Pilot. I love to craft and sew and sometimes cook ;) I still do a little work from home doing sewing and draperies.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born in a Mormon family and baptized at 8, my testimony really blossomed the first Sunday after I turned 12. It was my first time going to Young Women's Sunday School class and I can still remember my teacher's name today. I don't know what the lesson was about but I remember feeling the Spirit for the first time in my life and I was on fire! I knew God loved me, that He cared about what I did and I knew that all the things I'd been taught were true! I've learned that by being baptized and keeping the commandments I can be blessed with the Spirit and that through it God can guide my life in a way that makes it better than I could ever make it myself!

How I live my faith

Running after 7 kids isn't easy, but we made the Gospel a priority in our home. Because the kids are so busy at school and my husband works long hours it's not easy to find the time to incorporate the Gospel into our daily lives, but even little efforts result in big rewards. I find I can squeeze in a page out of the scriptures each morning while the kids are eating. Full mouths are quiet ones :) We make Family Home Evening a priority, and starting with a silly song and ending with a game and treats guarantees that it's the kids' highlight of the week. Thanks to my husband we are almost always on time to church on Sunday, so we can sit with our children and listen to the messages given. I don't know how much their picking up now, but I know we're creating that legacy that will give them the foundation they need to live a good life and make good choices. I am so grateful for the Gospel and the help we gain in raising our children. I can't and wouldn't want to imagine life without it!
