Hi I'm Karie

I grew up in Ohio. I am a Physician's Assistant but choose to stay home to raise and support my family and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Karie. I am a Physician Assistant. Currently, I work at home raising my 4 busy but beautiful children and supporting my hard-working husband. He is the love of my life and keeps me focused and playful. I enjoy nearly all outdoor activities but specifically hiking with my family and playing tennis with my husband. I like to experiment with healthy cooking and I like to organize just about anything. I enjoy learning, especially about useful homemaking skills with the exception of sewing. I like to participate in triathalons when the timing works out. A few of my life long goals are to train and complete an Ironman Triathalon, serve a mission with my husband, and travel the world to provide medical care for those in need. Right now, I am working on perfecting myself as I learn how to raise my family in truth and righteousness.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the Holy Spirit testify to my heart that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saits is true. I WANT to be a Mormon because I need the guiding light of the Spirit each day in my life as I make choices that affect my husband, children, and others around me. Sometimes it is as simple as stopping to give a child a loving hug or as complicated as where should our family move. Each day gives new opportunities to let the Lord direct my life as I strive to do His will. I need Lord, I need the Gospel, and I WANT my family to be eternal. Through this church is the only way to be with my husband for eternity. I couldn't imagine living my life knowing that my marriage and family relationships ended after this life on earth. The Gospel gives my life purpose, meaning, and long-term happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving my family and those in need around me. I am trying to surround myself with righteous influences and wholesome activities that will help me and my family grow closer together. My focus at this time in my life is on strengthening my family and teaching my children righteous principles and good habits. Each day brings new opportunites to teach them as they experiment with their agency. I am constantly seeking divine counsel through prayer, scriptures, expert opinion, and discussion with my family and friends. There will come a time when I hope to serve those outside my family, but for now I, I devote my time and talents to raising a Christ-centered family.
