Hi I'm Kendall

I am an aspiring fiction writer. I do wood-working. I love stories, historical and mythilogical. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am trying to write a fictional work. I have story-teller blood and love mythology. I am 21 and transitioning in maturity, body says 'adult' mind says 'teen'. I enjoy games, both board and video, even though I may not be good at them. I like to play one player games, but for my brothers sake I play multi-player with them. I do have my TV shows, NCIS, psyche, Firefly, etc. Of all the holidays, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas, Halloween is my day. At September I start a count down to the day. I am a dog person but I do like kittens.

Why I am a Mormon

I may have been born into the church, but it wasn't until my late teenage years that I truly became converted to this church. The Lord has truly blessed my life and the lives of my family through the faith. Every day I see the love of God in my life and in the lives of others. I am here because of God, nothing will ever change that.

How I live my faith

I am a permanent sub for sunday school classes for children 4-12. If a teacher is sick or out of town, I step in to teach the children for them. I am preparing for a mission to spread the word about the church to those who don't know about us. I am a hard working when it comes to service.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Kendall
Much like the Bible, which is a record of God's children in the Old World (Israel), The Book of Mormon is a record of God's children in the New World (the Americas). Prophets in both preached the same gospel. The Book of Mormon was passed down from generation to generation. So, like the Bible, it was written by many prophets and speaks of Christ. Mormon was one such prophet and it was he who collected those writtings and placed them all in one book, hence the name. Show more Show less
