Hi I'm Britni Call

I am a small town Texas girl. I am a coaches wife and mother of three. I love sports. I am Mormon.

About Me

I am first and foremost a wife and mother. I stay at home with my 3 kids ages 6, 4, 1 month, and run the house. I was born and raised as a small town girl in East Texas. I grew up playing sports and played college basketball briefly. I met the man of my dreams in Idaho while attending college. We married a year later and moved back to Texas. I am a football widow...I mean coaches wife. I attend every football game and support my husband and his team proudly. My kids wear their school colors and bring megaphones, pom-poms, and school spirit to every game, and yes...even my newborn. There is nothing more fun to us then to see our daddy inspire and enrich the lives of today's youth through the great sport of football. My husband and I have the same degree in Kinesiology and graduated together. I taught Biology, Special Ed, and Aerobics while also coaching volleyball, basketball, and softball before taking on the role as a full time mother. My kids are my life. I learn so much about myself because of them. They make me incredibly happy. I now am inspired by photography and take pictures as a side job/hobby. I also love crafting and sewing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know this is the true church. My father is a convert to the church. Through the help of my mother, missionaries, and local members he converted when I was young. By the time I was 8 he worked hard to be a good member of the church so that he could baptize me. When I was 10 my parents worked even harder to get us to the temple so that we could be an eternal family. These were the first big seeds that helped my testimony grow. My parents continued to be there for me as a I struggle and grow in the gospel as a youth. My testimony grew for my Heavenly Father, Joseph Smith, our Prophet today, Jesus Christ, and the love for Temples. When I married my husband my testimony grew ten fold. He makes me stronger in the gospel and a better person. Now as I teach my kids the basics of the gospel this only reiterates my love and knowledge for the gospel. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and I am a Child of God. I know that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die for us and through the Atonement and His grace we can repent and live with Him again one day. I know that Joseph Smith restored the Gospel to the Earth. I love his determination to find a true church. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today. I am so grateful that we have him guiding and seeking revelation for us during these rough and hard times. I love that we have a temple here on Earth that I can go and seek personal revelation in and to remove myself out of the world and remember my Heavenly Father and the love he has for me. I love that my family can be together forever! I love this Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am in no way PERFECT, but I live my faith by serving others, loving them, and TRYING to be like Jesus. I really believe people want to be good and make good decisions. I hope by just smiling or being there for someone I can make ones day better. I try to also be an example to my children and show them the love I have for the gospel. I live my faith by sharing my testimony, teaching the gospel, reading my scriptures, going to the temple, paying an honest tithe, keeping my body clean and pure, praying to my Heavenly Father, and through charity.
