Hi I'm Tierra Belle

I am a student midwife I love participating in the miracle of birth. Whether in the middle of the day or night & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After college I found myself at a cross road of decions. I felt inspired to serve a mission. It is a wonderful feeling to know that you are exactly where God needs you to be. Upon returning and being lined up with my hubby I was ready to move on to my next desired step of being a mommy. My husband and I built a cute little home together and we grew as we built. We worked and saved and have the blessing of a home free of debt. We felt we had prepared all we could for the day children would bless our little home. We have been waiting for them since the day we wed and we are still just waiting on them. We had a miscarriage and then were asked to be the adoptive parents of a 9mo. old little girl. We had her for a couple months before her mom changed her mind. Again I found myself at a cross road. Decisions to make, but what I wanted most to do was not yet a road available. I longed to again feel that I was where God needs me to be. The path wasn't quite as clear as at other times. I continued working and doing good things with my time, but all the while seeking the path that was my course to travel. Then it finally came. We all have something special to contribute and finding out where our talent and training can best serve others and bring us great joy is part of the journey of becoming who we were created to be. I found my next course was in helping mothers in labor. I am currently a midwife apprentice and I help moms bring to light and life their beautiful babies.

Why I am a Mormon

I know God exists, not only from my mother teachings, but because I have found Him for myself. I see His wisdom and power every time a new babe is born. As a loving God and Father He has always been mindful of me and my joy and my progress. But even more than that He has the bigger picture, the panoramic, 3-D veiw in mind. Not only is my soul of value to Him, but how I connect to the bigger plan is so important. And He places me where I can do the most good and be the happiest too!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through serving others. Whether it be the young women I teach at church or the mother in labor. I find joy in being a handmaid to the powers of creations. I still anxiously await my turn to be a mother whether to a child from my womb or another mothers baby. My hubby and I are doing all we can for that, but in the meantime God helps me to find purpose as I help in the sacred role of family growing. I love my Creator, and I am grateful to be an instrument in His work. And although I have yet to be blessed with the full fruits of being a procreator I am grateful God allows us as His children to help in His greatest work. To be parents is a paramount responsibility, to teach and comfort and through the gift of agency allow our children to grow to their potential. What an awesome and humbling road to travel!
