Hi I'm Terri

I'm a mom to 3 amazing kids. I'm a wife to my best friend & high school sweetheart. I love to create. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 3 kids who are amazing and I am so proud of each of them. I love my missionary who is serving and loving every minute of it. I love my daughters who teach me daily to dress modestly and remind me of how I need to be better at everything I do. I am a mom who is not perfect, I am trying to still learn even after 20 years of marriage, how to cook. I know crazy huh? I love to dance, when a good song comes on in the car, my youngest can't take it, because I can get my moves on. It does embarrass her, but I think deep down inside she thinks it is funny. One of her friends loves it & always joins me. I love to create. I make all types of crafts, from custom magnet boards to baby clothes. I love to see the look on a friend's face when I give them something I have made for them, I know they appreciate my time & love I took in their gift. I love my friends. I think it is important for us to have good friends, I am grateful to be blessed with great friends. I love my family. I am blessed with family that lives near and far, so we can spend time with close loved ones or we can travel. I have recently taken up a love for Golf, it is kind of crazy, I'm not good at it, but I want to be. Everyone in our family Golfs, so I figured I had better learn someday. I think I am liking it because the outfits are cute, ha ha. I know crazy, huh? Well, that's me!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I know my Savior suffered immense pain for me personally. I know that this is His church, and I know that when I read the Book of Mormon with my family the Holy Ghost confirmed to me of it's truths. When you feel that burning inside your chest & your heart feels like it is going to pound right out of your body, you just KNOW. I'm a mormon because when I am not at church, my fellow members are either on the phone or at my house wanting to know if I am o.k, am I sick or hurt, I am truly missed when I am not at church. The same goes with my children, their leaders are concerned with them always. They truly care about them. I have a testimony that this gospel is true, I know that Joseph Smith knelt down in the Sacred Grove & was visited by God the Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph went through many horrible things to restore the gospel & the Book of Mormon for our times, even death. I know that the scriptures are true, they are for our times today, even though they were written so many years ago. I know that my Savior died & suffered for me. I know that we can be re-united with our loved ones if we live worthily today. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a true Prophet here on this earth and that he does receive revelation from our Father in Heaven. I know that my Father lives & he knows me by name & loves me. I say these things in the name of my beloved Savior Jesus Christ, Amen

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday. Some people find it hard to believe that we go to church for 3 hours. It is amazing because, by the time the 3rd hour is over, I am usually ready for more. The way our church is split up, it really doesn't seem that long, you aren't sitting in the same place for 3 hours. I attend our Temple once a week. Whenever there are opportunities to serve I love to help. I am always trying to help any way that I can. Right now I don't have a calling, other than visit teaching, which is a wonderful calling. I used to be in with the young women & that has always been my favorite calling. I especially love that calling, because I have two girls of that age. Serving in with the youth is so awesome. I recently was able to go with the girls to camp and be with the youth camp leaders. It was a wonderful experience being up in God's country and camping in the wood's. The stars at night were so beautiful, it was just an amazing time. I think that the best example of living my faith, would just be a day to day trying to be Christ like attitude. I get up, say my prayers and go about my day, if a situation arises, my question is just plain and simple, "what would Jesus do?"
