Hi I'm Susan

I live in Arizona. I help people build businesses that give them financial freedom, fun lifestyle and great health. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to design, draw, be creative, sew, snorkel, and swim. I graduated from BYU with an Interior Design degree. I'm a wife, mother of 5 and grandmother of 8 and so I'm an in demand babysitter and I've always got a project of some sort going on! Right now I'm working on some hand made books for Christmas gifts! I am a personal assistant and driver for my 86 year old mom. She takes me out to lunch sometimes--we have a good time! I love to travel and I arrange and take trips with my family! I've gotta say Hawaii is our favorite place to visit! We like to make memories all over the world, Germany, Austria, France, United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico and Philippines are some of our wonderful memories. In the spaces of time in my life I sell furniture on the Internet and work to build a terrific business my husband and I got involved in 14 years ago. We are distibutors building businesses with other people that help their finances and their health! I feel so blessed in life and love to bless others!

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that God loves us and wants us to be happy. When I read The Book of Mormon I took the challenge to find out if it was true very seriously. I was 19 years old, a college student and was studying it every day. I prayed sincerely to know if The Book of Mormon and everything connected with it was true. This included accepting that the church had a living prophet to lead and guide us. I received spiritual confirmation that it was true, I had a warm comforting feeling come over me and I knew that it was good and right and that God wanted me to know this. It feels so good to have a personal relationship with God and with His Son Jesus Christ! To be communicating with them through prayer and to feel guidance and help from them. I feel that by being a member of the church and living the commandments brings us peace and greater happiness and truth in our lives! In good times and in difficult times I have been so blessed, directed and comforted.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in the church. I have worked with young children, young adults and with the women. All of the service we give seems to bless us as we bless those around us. Right now I help adults in the congregation to store food for their families by canning things like rice, wheat, macaroni and many other foods. This way families can have peace of mind that they can care for their families whatever the circumstances in the economy or world present. I always feel good after we get the canning done and I see the families taking home the stored food! In the community I have served as a girl scout leader and cub scout leader! I have also served in the community fine arts program doing costuming for plays and musicals in the community.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Susan
Family is so important to Mormons because we believe that we can always be families even in "heaven" after our lives here on earth have ended. It is a wonderful comfort to know that even though my father has passed on we will be reunited when I pass on. So as church members we build strong relationships as we serve and love and help each other but we also have the perspective that family is forever not just for now. We believe that there was a great purpose to bring us into this world in families where we could be taught and nurtured. Although we each have different family situations we can all work to make our family relationships be the best that they can be. Family relationships do bring us the most happiness we can have in this life! Show more Show less
