Hi I'm Angie

I grew up in AZ, graduated from BYU, love sports, animals, practical jokes, spending time with people I love, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family. I'm the youngest of 8 kids. I have 19 nieces and nephews, and I adore every one of the little monsters. I love learning. I graduated from BYU 2 years ago with a degree in Psychology happy to be done with school. But after a year hiatus I was shocked to discover how much I missed learning and just returned to peruse a masters in special education. I love animals. I wasn't allowed to have pets for the first 15 years of my life and it was torture. I absolutely adore snuggling all types of animals, and hope to one day own a bunny farm whose rabbits will rule in the state fair circuit. I love winning. It's not my greatest attribute, but I love competition and more importantly dominating in competition. Being fairly short and uncoordinated can make it difficult, but I like to think I can still hold my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born into a family that already had the gospel of Jesus Christ at it's center and had parents who taught me all about my savior. As I grew up I prayed to know if those things I had been taught were true, and it was confirmed to me that they were true. I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and the Savior for all man kind. I am a Mormon because I know that we have a Prophet on the earth today, President Monson, who just like the prophets in the bible speaks with my Father in Heaven and receives direction from him to share with all of us here on earth. I am Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and I know that Joseph Smith was directed by God to uncover and translate it so that we could learn from its history. And I am Mormon because it makes me happy by giving my life direction, meaning, and purpose.

How I live my faith

I know how much my father in heaven loves me, and I want those around me to be able to feel that same love and comfort. So one of the best things I can do is pray for opportunities to share that love. I have been blessed with opportunities to do this in my church calling as I get to work with different women in my ward. I get to grow closer to them in friendship and love as we work together on service projects, learn together about the gospel, participate together in sports, and visit with other women who need our help and friendship. I know that the Lord puts certain people in our lives to bless us. He has done it for me, and I want to be able to be that same kind of blessing for someone else.
