Hi I'm Michelle

I am a world traveler. I love anything organic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to do power Yoga! It keeps me in shape and helps me to relax at the same time. I love eating organic food. I believe that if you want to feel healthy you must eat healthy. My husband is my best friend. We love to travel and see the world together. We have already had some amazing adventures together like seeing ancient ruins in Greece and Turkey, listening to a classical quintet play Vivaldi in an old church in Venice Italy, and swimming with stingrays in the Caribbean. Our biggest adventure of all, however, is raising our four wonderful, amazing, and talented children!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon doesn't make life easy... just easier. I heard that somewhere and I think it makes a lot of sense. It's easier because I have an eternal perspective of adversity. My Heavenly Father has promised me that if I stay faithful and endure to the end I will receive eternal life, and all that He has will be mine as well. So when life is hard I try to remember that promise. I don't have to ask, "Why me?" when something bad happens. Instead I try to ask, "What do You want me to learn from this Lord?". Overcoming trials makes you a stronger person and helps you to serve others better. I know that He will never give me any trials that I can't handle. I can pray for strength and feel peace through his Spirit. I also find strength in knowing that my Savior is always there for me when I feel weak.

How I live my faith

If I want to have a good day I have to do something nice for someone else. It makes me laugh that service is so selfless and selfish at the same time! You can't help feeling great after doing something nice for someone in need. I get to work with the Boy Scouts in my ward. They are great kids! I think that visiting teaching is a great way to serve as well. The women I visit are wonderful and help strengthen my testimony. I always try to be a good example to others around me. I love to do missionary work. I want everyone to have what I have! What is that? It's the knowledge that my Savior lives, loves me, and wants me to be happy!
