Hi I'm Erika.

I am an Arizona native. I love to blog. I'm a student. I'm a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a twenty year old college student with a passion for decorating and design. I am a wife and a mother of two dogs. I love to blog (erikainez.blogspot.com) and write about everything from daily experiences and craft ideas, to some of my many "ah-ha" moments and spiritual experiences. I cannot wait until we have little red headed kiddos running around and I get to experience the joys of motherhood. I love my husband and I love our life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been Mormon since the day I was born. So I have no amazing conversion story. But I have chosen to continue living this gospel because of the way it makes me feel. I am happy when I do the things this church counsels us to do. Even though at times it can be so hard, the holy ghost has made it clear to me time and time again that this is what I need to be doing. And so I do.

How I live my faith

In my ward I am the Activity day leader over the 10 and 11 year old girls. Twice a month we get together and do different activities that help them to prepare to become young women. These things can be as silly as writing notes to their future husbands, or as spiritual as bearing their testimonies and sharing their faith in God and Jesus Christ. These things can help the youth to continue to learn and grow with the help of their parents and leaders.
