Hi I'm Whitni

I grew up in Wyoming. I am a massage therapist who loves to sing. Taiwan is my second home, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have my own massage therapy business and I love what I do. After I got my bachelors degree I got the opportunity to live in Taiwan for a year teaching English. It was such an amazing experience! When I wasn’t teaching I would go make friends with the locals and study the language. I have a strong love for the people, language, and customs of Taiwan, and love going back to visit and staying in touch with my host family and friends. When I got back to America, in addition to starting my career as a massage therapist I also got involved with singing. My mom, two sisters, a few friends and I formed a women’s group. We sing many different varieties of music for many different occasions. It’s something I love doing and am so happy I get to do it with some of my family members. I love adventures! I am always up for trying new things and testing my boundaries, which sometimes get’s me in trouble, but keeps life very exciting.

Why I am a Mormon

It’s who I am. I couldn’t imagine my life if I wasn’t a Mormon, and wouldn’t want to. The values and doctrines of the gospel bring peace, hope, and joy to my life and help me keep going through the tough times and make the good times that much better. It is so nice knowing that God loves me and is aware of what I am going through and He wants me to be happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being honest and by finding joy in the simple things of life. I always try to do my best at what ever I set to accomplish. I try to be a good sister, daughter, friend, and therapist. I focus on helping people know that they are important and are loved by serving and respecting them. In my ward I am a librarian, a member of the choir, a visiting teacher, and a member of the Relief Society.
