Hi I'm Jeff

I'm an Electrical Engineer, a Pyrotechnician, a Pilot, a Dirt Biker, a Skier, a Husband, a Father, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wife and 4 daughters and they all keep me on my toes. I have an abundance of hobbies / careers. I started tinkering with electronics when I was in grade school. In high school I bought a computer and taught myself how to program. After I returned home from my mission, I earned my pilot's license and kept earning licenses up to multi-engine flight instructor. I later decided that a pilot career might not be the best choice for raising a family, so I went back to school and got a degree in Electrical Engineering. I'm employed as a firmware engineer in a large computer company. I started shooting firework shows in 1999. Since then I have shot firework shows in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Texas and Nevada. I designed a firing system that has been used to shoot some of the largest firework displays in Utah and Arizona. I love to ride dirt bikes up in the mountains and I love to ski in the winter. I have a HAM radio license and I also enjoy flying radio control airplanes.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church and was the oldest of 7 children. I attended church while growing up because not attending wasn't an option in our house. I believed the church was true growing up, but on my mission is where I truly gained a testimony of Jesus Christ, the restored gospel and miracles in our day.

How I live my faith

I do the best I can to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. I have had the opportunity to serve with children, the youth, missionaries, and the men's organization. I feel that serving others draws us closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
