Hi I'm Nick

I'm a graphic designer, a traveler, a family man and a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for over eight years with three children. My kids are six, four and two. I love living in the northwest, but I am originally from Los Angeles and Hawaii. I love reading, hiking, playing video games, being a Cub Master for the Cub Scouts and spending time with my family. I work as a graphic designer for the state and really enjoy it. I make posters, mailers, letterheads, newsletters, business cards, etc...

Why I am a Mormon

I have found my testimony and answers to my questions through prayers. From the time of my initial investigation to when I finally prayed to ask if the church was true, two years had past. It was a long process for me to understand and fully accept the gospel. I love the gospel, and how it builds families and does not break them down. Each aspect of our life is strengthened and built through the testimony and daily prayers in our lives. I could not imagine my life without the blessings I have received through living the gospel.

How I live my faith

My life with the gospel is full. I am a priesthood leader in my home, which allows me to support and lead my family in the church. The gift of the priesthood also allows me to bless my family in so many ways, it could not be listed or counted. I am active in scouts. I have been in several leadership positions for the scouting program and love seeing how the boys grow to become future leaders of our community. They also inspire and teach me to see things differently, and the tools I use to teach them, also teach me to be a better person, father and husband. My life in the church does not end there, I also visit families each month as part of my duties in the church. I find such joy and delight in getting to know the people in the church (that I may not otherwise get to know as well) through my monthly meetings. All these tools, lessons, and duties have enriched my life and given me a sense of community and belonging. These things are also shared with my family and we are all truly blessed because of it.
