Hi I'm Trent.

I served as a missionary in the Dominican Republic. I'm a husband and father. I love to play the guitar and sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi!! Writing about myself is always a little hard and weird (I think a lot of people could agree) but I know that this church is true so if I can get to know more people who need the gospel just as much as I do than I would be more than happy to share :) I am 24 years old. I'm married to a beautiful young woman who is my other half. Life with her is unbelievably amazing. My marriage is most definitely humbling sometimes but worth every minute!! I have my first child on the way. A beautiful little girl who will be my whole world. (She already has me wrapped around her finger!!) Being a husband and father is my whole purpose of being here. I cant wait to be the best dad i can be! Now that we have covered my Man #1 topic, family, I guess I can just name a few hobbies. I love singing! It is a HUGE passion of mine. Occasionally, I sing a musical number in front of my whole ward (ward being everyone who attends my building) and I LOVE IT! I play the guitar also a little something I picked up in my years. I enjoy video games, computers, and just about every electronic device. I hope to pursue some career path in Software Engineering and I'm currently taking online classes at Rio Salado. I currently work at a bank and help struggling homeowners achieve their goals on either modification or liquidation.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because growing up, my parents helped me understand my role as a son of God and my purpose here on earth. At an early age, I came to know that the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, was in fact true by witness of God's Spirit. I felt it was true from inside my heart. I knew that no man could write such a book unless by the power of God. As I grew, I began to apply the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that are found in the Bible and Book of Mormon and saw that I found myself MUCH happier when I followed God's commandments. Whether it was to not consume alcohol, obey my parents, not lie, or simply by saying my daily prayers. I know that by following my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, I will someday live with Them along with my family. These reasons and for many many many more am I a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a ward missionary. Not to be confused with the full-time missionaries who wear the plaques and white tee shirts all day. Nope those days are past for me. I have been called as a normal member of the church to continue to help those who seek more information by helping our local full-time missionaries teach those that they teach and testify of the work that they have been called to do. I love my church because it always keeps me active and constantly helping others draw nearer to God. This could mean doing service for othes such as help someone move, organize a baptism, teach someone from the scriptures, or throw a really cool BBQ where members and nonmembers alike can mingle. I know that I have been called of God and that I have a purpose here on Earth.
