Hi I'm Lauren

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of seven kids, five boys and two girls. I love kids, and I currently work in a child care facility which is one of the best jobs ever. I am an avid reader, a student, an amateur photographer and self-taught fashion designer and seamstress, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and for the first part of my life I definitely relied on my parents' testimonies and their spiritual strength. When I was fourteen or fifteen, I decided to pray and ask God if this church was true so that I could know for myself. When I did that, I felt a peace in my heart and an overwhelming sense of our Heavenly Father's love for me, one of His children. Through experiences much like that one, I have come to know that The Book of Mormon is indeed the word of God and that Joseph Smith was a prophet called by Him to restore His church to the earth once again. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that he suffered for the sins of each one of us. He knows our strengths and our weaknesses. He knows the hardest trials we will ever have to endure because He felt that pain. I know Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers, and that He loves each and every one of us. The Gospel has brought so much joy into my life as I have learned and grown closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I bear witness that it truly is God's church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full-time missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Louisville, Kentucky. I love my Savior and I am striving to be an honorable representative of Him in all that I do and say. For a year and a half I get to devote all of my time and energy into inviting others to come unto Christ and I can't think of anything more rewarding than that!
