Hi I'm Linae

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of four beautiful kids! But, I am more than "just a mom"......I am a wife, chef, taxi driver, nurse, counselor, coach, maid, educator, nurturer, best friend, sister, daughter, granddaughter, aunt, and whatever else life asks of me. Though, I am highly unqualified to carry some of these titles, this is my passion and life! In order to keep up with all I am responsible for, I find my release and other joys in being physically active. I love to run, and in my 30's, I finally found the confidence in myself to compete in races and other sports! I probably couldn't survive without my weekly date night with my best friend and husband, even if we are too broke to do nothing else than Netflix, some pop corn (and of course a Pepsi!) Although, I am a sucker for a great restaurant, to be served amazing food that I didn't have to cook and not have to do the dishes afterwards....PRICELESS!! Life is not always a bowl of cherries, but it's the bitter things in life that make all the good times that much sweeter!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. My amazing parents taught me by their example of how a true Christian, follower of Christ should live. As I grew, I came to know and love my Savior Jesus Christ. During my teenage years, I made choices that lead me away from the truths I knew, and the happiness and peace I once felt was gone. This is when my true conversion of Christ was born! When I felt so alone, lost, and hopeless, I finally humbled myself and hit my knees to pray to my loving Heavenly Father. It was then that I was reminded of my brother Jesus Christ who knows me, loves me, and understands me. As I drew closer to him the light and happiness I once felt started creeping back into my life. It is because of the price He paid on the cross, that a broken soul like me can be healed and live a life of fullness and blessings. It is through His grace, that my husband and I met, and together we get to experience what true happiness in this life is all about.... FAMILIES! There is no greater joy in life than raising a family with the teachings of Christ in our home and knowing that because of God's plan of happiness, our family is Eternal! I can't imagine going through this life and loving my family so much, only to have it all end after we die. I'm so thankful for the truth that I know our family will be together forever, death is not the end. This is why, I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

I have learned how important it is for me to serve and be active in our church. I love, love, love, working with the youth in our ward! I remember how impressionable and important these years are and I hope and pray that I can help them stay close to Christ. Our organization is filled with so many opportunities for the youth to grow and develop talents that will help them in all areas of their life, from sports, to etiquette, to public speaking, CPR, and these are just to name a few! As an all volunteer organization, it is amazing to see so many incredible people, step up to be leaders and devote so much time and energy to making His church a place for all to join and find their own place and happiness in it! I feel blessed that I get to serve in His church and so thankful that my own children can be part of such an amazing organization!
