Hi I'm Amy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am originally from California but moved to Arizona when I was 19 years old. I am a wife and a mom of three kids (two of which are teenagers)! I love reading, camping, swimming, mountain biking, baking and cleaning! I run a crazy schedule, running kids to school, church and sporting events but wouldn't change it for anything in the world!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were divorced when I was two years old. My mom, my sister and I moved to California to be closer to our grandparents. Two sweet missionaries came to our door one day to share a message with us. After many discussions with the missionaries and attending several church services, my mom was baptized and later, my sister and I were also. I remember the the feeling of peace and comfort the missionaries brought to our home and knowing that this was the right path for us. I love the feeling I get when I go to church and I know that my Heavenly Father is mindful of me and loves me. I am so grateful for the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and I feel so blessed to be a part of His church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church on Sundays, reading my scriptures, praying and obeying the commandments. I also try my hardest to be of service to others and to be mindful of their needs. I strive to uphold strong values and morals and to set a good example to others (especially my kids =). I have had the opportunity to serve in many different areas in the church but have mostly worked in Primary with small children and in the Scouting program. I love working with kids and am so happy that I have been blessed to be able to do so.
