Hi I'm Chris

I live in Arizona, U.S, I currently go to high school, I hope to be a violinist when I grow up, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well i currently go to high school and I'm a very strong member in the LDS Church. I enjoy playing the piano and violin and I'm on the swim team for my high school. my favorite subject i like to read or talk about, concerning the Church, is life after death and what is to happen before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. I've read many books and many of the scriptures pertaining to those subjects. I also like to read about the pre- existence and what it was like before. If you too are interested in these subjects I highly recommend these books: Life Everlasting by Duane S. Crowther, and Prophecy key to the future also by Duane S. Crowther. You can find these books in the Desert Bookstore, but if you are an investigator and just started looking into what we believe i would start in the scriptures first and learning the basics first!

Why I am a Mormon

Well i was born and raised in the Church and my parents have taught me to live righteously. I know this Church to be true because I can feel the Spirit here and I've prayed about weather these things are true and i have many good feelings and inspirations from the Spirit that is it. That is why I'm Mormon and I'm blessed to be one.

How I live my faith

Well i attend church every Sunday and I'm very active in combined activity nights and scouts. When i was deacon i was called to a Deacon Quorum President and at first i didn't like the sound of it. I was never good with being a leader or giving orders. But I accepted and it was a blessing that i accepted. At first it was hard to get use to the idea of being a leader and i was scared, but eventually i got over it. Now i think that it was supposed to happen to improve my leadership and social skills. Another way i practice my faith is doing home-teaching with my partner every month.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Chris
Families are the foundations of our religion. Without families our religion would have no purpose. The answer put simply is that families can be together forever in Heaven after death and we can all potentially live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ with our families we have. Without our families we cannot receive the fulness of happiness. Show more Show less
