Hi I'm Tim

I have an Associate of Science and am working toward a Bachelor degree in Engineering. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father to two lovely little girls and am a student. I like to help friends and family with car repairs and am in the process of a major remodel of my home. I work full time at a job I dislike, but it pays the bills. I do my best to help my wife keep her sanity while she stays home with our children. My favorite thing to do is tell sci-fi bedtime stories and sing silly songs to my girls at bedtime.

Why I am a Mormon

/ ` When I was in high school I came to a point where I needed to know for myself if the church was true. I had my doubts, which were exacerbated by some experiences I had at school. I was taught by my parents that if you really want an answer to your questions in life, it is best to ask to Lord. So one night, I knelt down by my bed and asked in humble prayer whether the Book of Mormon was the word of God, if Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and whether I belonged to God's own true church. Before I had even finished with my questions, I felt like I'd been filled with fire from my head to my feet. I knew that the feeling came from the Holy Ghost testifying to me of the truthfulness of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I am the Executive Secretary to the Bishop of our ward. This involves setting up appointments for the bishop and attend countless meetings, along with other things. I do my best every day to read my scriptures and pray. I hope that my efforts help me to be a good example to the people around me and allow me to help others who may be struggling.
