Hi I'm Loira

I'm a lover of people, of learning, and of life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a university student studying Human Development. However, I am currently serving a full-time mission in Tampa, Florida. I love reading. I love music. I love learning the guitar and playing the piano. I love being outside. I love camping. I love adrenaline rushes and I love the sun. I love life. I love culture, traveling, and traditions. I love people. I love learning stories of humanity. I simply love life, this gospel, and all that it offers.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. When I was 13, I started sincerely praying to know the truth for myself. I then stopped relying on the testimonies of others and received my own confirmation. I've never had an overwhelming spiritual revelation coming down from heaven to tell me of the truth of this gospel, but I have always felt peace. I have never doubted. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ was restored in these Latter-days through the Prophet Joseph Smith and in order to find out for yourself if this is true, you must be willing to read the Book of Mormon with an open heart and an open mind and pray to know if it is true. God will answer your prayers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to keep the commandments daily. I study the scriptures every day and pray to my Father in Heaven. I look for opportunities to serve others. I also strive to attend the temple often and make it a priority in my life. Through everything, I always try and keep Christ in my thoughts and my actions. I live my faith by being happy, joyful, and sharing God's love with others.
