Hi I'm Carli Siders

I'm a former military brat, wife, mother, performer, voice teacher, scrapbooker, book-lover, movie enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised a military brat and I have lived many places within the USA and several other countries. I loved being able to travel and meet new people everywhere I lived. It was a great comfort that the church was the same everywhere we went! I attended Brigham Young University (BYU) and got my degree in choral music education and then taught choir in middle and high school. After my children were born, I decided to stay home with them and teach voice lessons from my home. It is thrilling to help someone develop their talents! I also love to perform and sing with a small women's ensemble in the community. Most importantly, I am the wife to my best friend. I am also the mother of 2 beautiful girls and two active boys. Life is full and I feel blessed. I am continually surprised how the Lord is willing to bless our family!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, one of those with pioneer heritage, but really came to it know was true as a teenager through studying and asking A LOT of questions. My testimony continues to grow as I live the gospel. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that this is His church. It is only through Him that we can return to our loving Heavenly Father. When I read the scriptures and listen to modern-day prophets, I learn more about what I can and should do to be happy. Living the gospel brings me and my family JOY!

How I live my faith

I am a regular, busy mom. I do what I can to serve my family and others, even if it is only in simple ways. I like trying to use my talents it whatever ways I can. I volunteer at my children's school and perform in the community, especially for the elderly. At church I love teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, especially to children and teenagers. It is so rewarding to watch their understanding of the scriptures and their testimony of Jesus Christ grow. I just try to do the best I can.
