Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Iowa and grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. Now I'm married and I have 5 beautiful children.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom and I love it. I adore my husband and 5 chilren-taking care of them, doing things with them, and spending time as a family. We love to go outside our home and play in the neighborhood with our friends and neighbors. I am teaching myself how to sew. I like to scrapbook and keep up on my blog. I attend a book club with friends. I like to sing, especially in a choir. While growing up, I played the flute, piano, saxophone, and oboe. I occasionally still play my flute and sing. Some of my other favorite things are being at the ocean, summer (because my kids are out of school and it's warm), eating mexican food, going home to visit each summer, and the color red.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. I know the church is true, and I continue to attend church, because of the Spirit that I feel. I feel that Spirit when I attend church, read the Book of Mormon, look at my children, and help others. I feel comfort and joy in knowing that my family is going to be together forever because of the things that God has promised us. I know that living the teachings of the Gospel, reading the Book of Mormon, and keeping the Commandments are the best and only way to be truely happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in everything I do. The things I watch on tv, the activities I participate in, the friends I have, the way I teach my children. I try to choose only things that are uplifting and to dress modestly. I help with the music at church, and I work with the 8-year old boys in cub scouts. I try to share little bits and pieces of my faith to my friends when the opportunity comes up.
