Hi I'm Jaren

I have lived in Arizona for 4 years now and enjoy serving the youth of the area as a scoutmaster.

About Me

Although I work in the financial/real estate market, I would much rather be doing something with my hands. I grew up working along with my father at his auto-shop. I enjoy making things work again and I'm always impressed to see the technology advances that come year after year in the automotive industry. I love my family. I am a father of 4 children and love to spend time making them happy. We enjoy traveling to new places and trying new things together. It is not uncommon for us to pack up for a few weeks and drive across the country.

Why I am a Mormon

It probably isn't a big surprise to most that I am a Mormon since I grew up in a small town where the LDS church is the dominant religion. The church was always a part of my life. Ward socials, home teaching, and participating in the LDS scouting unit were all that I knew. It wasn't until I served a mission for the church in Chicago, Illinois, that I began to understand just how much the church meant to me, and how much it can do for others. Why am I a Mormon? Because I know Jesus Christ and what he has done for me. That wonderful message of hope and truth has been brought to the earth by prophets of God. I know that he lives and loves us. All we need to do is commit to follow him.

How I live my faith

I have the most wonderful opportunity of serving our youth through scouting. I am currently serving as the Scoutmaster for troop 836 in San Tan Valley. I love watching our young men grow, gain confidence, character and develop a love for God. I could do it for the rest of my life.
