Hi I'm Stacey Noble

I grew up in Mesa AZ. I love helping others with their genealogy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah, but moved to Arizona when I was younger and have been here ever since. I grew up having to figure out how to live with disabilities, as I have cerebral palsy and fibromyalgia. During school I went to special ed classes and as such can really relate to those who have various disabilities and conditions. I served a mission helping others do family history (genealogy). I have good computer skills. I got married 2 years ago and am loving married life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, as my parents were both members. However I would say that my 9th Grade year in school was crucial in wanting to continue being a Mormon. In Seminary (LDS religious classes during school time) we were watching a movie about Joseph Smith and something inside me drove me to want to find out more about Joseph Smith. I did so and felt the Holy Spirit tell me that he was called of God to restore Christ's Church. This lead me to discover a sense of happiness and fulfillment that I had never really had before. I knew that Jesus is the Christ and that Joseph Smith was his instrument to restore the lost Church. Since that time I have been faithful to the best of my ability in striving to keep God's commandments. Something else that really struck a chord was the central belief that we are all Children of God and that despite our shortcomings and weaknesses He loves us all and wants us home someday. I actually look upon my disabilities as a blessing and not a punishment. They have allowed me to see things differently and serve as an inspiration to others around me. God helps me live and deal with my challenges. He has a plan for all of us and only wants the best for us. I also know that in the next life, I will be made whole through the resurrection. This gives me great peace and comfort.

How I live my faith

I have participated in Special Olympics and loved it. I am currently involved with preparing flyers and watching children during women's meetings. I love visiting those "sisters" assigned to me. I have a business that helps others research their family histories. I like to read my scriptures and love the peace that comes in serving others. In the past I have served as caretaker for older ladies and found great joy in doing that. I have a dog that I try to spoil also. Living my faith daily is a choice I have made. I listen to appropriate music and try to avoid inappropriate TV and movies. It's getting harder to do, but it can be done. I believe that modesty and chastity is definitely something more women should place special significance on. God wants us to control our thoughts and help others to control theirs also.
