Hi I'm Megan

I love literature, movies, and travel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In 2010 I graduated with a Bachelor's degree and began teaching 8th grade English Language Arts for two years. Then I decided to be a full-time wife, mother, and homemaker. I enjoy traveling, cooking, sewing (among other crafts), organizing, learning and studying, reading, writing, sleeping, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. I particularly enjoy talking and laughing with my husband and watching our son, who is a few months old, learn and develop right before my eyes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to and grew up in a family that is Mormon. But as I grew up and tested and practiced the teaching of the Church, I've found more and more that this is where I want to be. The doctrines of the Church help me see the purpose of my life so that I can effectively prioritize my life and devote myself to those things that matter most, especially my faith and my family. My life is more fulfilling, my relationships more meaningful. I'm on the path to becoming everything that I wish to be.

How I live my faith

It's all about the little things. Small, daily acts of faith and devotion. These include praying often, regularly studying the teachings in the scriptures, and trying to love and serve others. This way, I am ever mindful of God, His plan for His children, and His son, Jesus Christ. By remembering God and Christ, I can be under their influence to make the decisions, big and small, that will bring me closer to them and bless my life more abundantly with happiness.
