Hi I'm Jeff

I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. I Love my life all because I now know God Loves me.

About Me

I am in my late 40's now. As a kid my life was a train wreck. My Father had a bad drinking problem and our home life was anything but stable. I was always in trouble and even dropped out of High School with no direction for my life. I had no idea of who I was or what I could even be. This until I converted to the Church in 1984 after being introduced to the Church by a friend. The church stresses education and self reliance, so I returned to school for a GED and continued on to College for a bachelor degree in Business. I was the first child of 6 to finish High school let alone earn a college degrees and have since owned and operated my own business with offices in multiple states. All of our children are currently active in the church and have been through the Temple and strive to live the gospel. Our oldest son served a Spanish speaking mission in Houston Texas, graduated from College and is currently working in our business.. Our Daughter earned a bachelors degree in business and married a returned missionary, who served in Poland, they also work in our Business and our youngest Son recently returned from his LDS mission in Vancouver Washington. The Church taught me how to work to build a life and family that is focused on God and a Savior. Believe in yourself, Believe in your God and Believe in your fellow man.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because someone took the time to share with me the most important thing in their life. The Gospel made complete sense to me as soon as I heard it. It was obvious to me that I had heard this Gospel before and as I learned more I knew that I was exposed to this gospel in the pre-existence. I am a Mormon now, because I know that God lives, that he knows me personally and he is aware of me and my needs as well as the needs of those that I love. He continues to bless our lives in so many ways. I know that we are blessed when we serve others and work to be an instrument in his hands to the building of the kingdom of god here on earth. We will continue to do all we can to serve others as well as serve our God. We love our life and could not be more appreciative for all that God has blessed us with. We look for ways to re-pay those blessings everyday..!

How I live my faith

The Church is the center piece to our lives and the blessings that come from living the gospel has blessed my family's life in so many ways that I could not list them all. The peace that comes from knowing that as a family we can be together forever is incredible. Striving to live a life that Christ would be proud of is not always easy, but as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of later Day Saints we are not expected to be perfect, we are only expected to try our best. That we can do..!! We live our faith by making regular church attendance a priority in our lives. By making sure that we accept any church calling made to us, by sustaining our leaders and by serving others. We also make sure that we do all we can to study and understand the teaching of the church and the Gospels doctrine. These are the fundamentals of the gospel. The church's organization is all based around the family and as a family we work to be as close as possible. We value and appreciate our family time and family home evenings.
