Hi I'm Stan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I live on a farm in rural northern Colorado where I operate a small engineering business. We have eight grown children (six daughters in a row and two sons at the end) and three grandchildren (all boys). Our youngest son is currently serving as a missionary in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania mission. I am currently serving as the scoutmaster in the local scout troop and enjoy camping, whitewater rafting and flying my Cessna 206.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church for a little more than 30 years now and feel that the principles and doctrines of the church support strong families and personal progress. I joined the church in 1977 at the age of 24 and probably the most significant thing that initally caught my attention was the way members of the church really try to live their religion - it is not just a Sunday activity.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as Scoutmaster in our ward and work with the 12 and 13 year old boys in Scouting.
